ENV bike is the first hydrogen fuel cell motorcycle built. It was launched in 2005, and I was very curios what had happened with this. So, from curios to happy, findig out that this yerar, 2007, they have sigend with Suzuki and they are working together on the development of prototype hydrogen fuel cell motorcycles using Intelligent Energy’s advanced fuel cell power systems.
This not 100% ecological, but is a good improvement. The fuel cell is motre than twice as efficient as the internal combustion(55% to 25%). As they said on their site, http://www.envbike.com/ , on applications where the heat produces is used, the effciency can be up to 90%.
Price :between 6000$-8000$.
Now I know that is a little expensive and not quite practical, but it’s good to know that they are working on it.
